Voltage represents the electric potential of a battery. Higher voltage allows for more power delivery and is determined by the number of cells in series (S).
Amperage (current) determines how much electricity flows through the system. A higher amperage means more power to your motor.
Amp-Hours measure battery capacity. A 10Ah battery can deliver 10A for 1 hour or 5A for 2 hours. More amp-hours = longer runtime.
Watts measure power. It is calculated as Voltage (V) × Current (A). For example, a 48V battery supplying 10A delivers 480W of power.
Watt-Hours measure total energy stored in a battery. This is calculated as Voltage × Amp-Hours. A 48V, 10Ah battery stores 480Wh of energy.
